Publish a pack & share the link

Publishing turns a pack into a safe, shareable snapshot — without exposing anything private.

How to publish

1. Open the pack you want to share.
2. Click the Public toggle in the header.
3. Confirm the visibility warning.
4. Copy the share link from the Public badge.

Anyone with the link can view the pack — no account required.

What gets shared (and what doesn't)

Shared:

• Pack name, season, conditions
• Gear list with weights and categories
• Curated public notes that you opt in to share

Not shared:

• Your email or account ID
• Your private gear notes
• Any pack you haven't explicitly published

Update or unpublish

• Update public version — pushes your latest changes to the shared snapshot.
• Unpublish — toggle Public off; the link stops working immediately.
